Heritage Frames Extra

I've had a couple of requests for another frame to go with my botanical papers and I think this old style polished frame should suit.
I've included in the zip, one frame without drop shadows, the other with an insert and shadows applied. Both are in .png format.
You can download the zip HERE.
Chris has used the frame in a delightful new desktop wallpaper which I'm sure you will love. You can visit her pages HERE.

Thank You

I am always grateful to those artists who give me permission to use their images for my creations.

You may have noticed my new blog header.--The Christmas beetles which are really more common in our area later in the year were lifted from a couple of photos on fellow Queenslander Nick Monoghan's website [with Nick'permission] Life Unseen . Thank you Nick!

The gumleaf is from my own backyard :)
Below is another of his critters.

Heritage Botanical Scrapbook pages

2 pages for your scrapbook album. They are 12 inches by 12 inches .jpg at 300 dpi but could easily be reduced for a smaller album.
I've also included a "cutout" effect frame as a .png in my zip which you can use in different ways....see my example pages below. The cutout will accomodate a 4 X 6 inch photograph but you can adjust to suit yourself.
Although I have tagged these pages as "heritage" I think they would be quite suitable for other images.
You can click on either image to see more detail.

The zip is available HERE

Bird of Paradise Desktop Wallpaper

Life has become terribly hectic for me at the moment, but I took a break from the stress to make this desktop using the gorgeous background and frame from Chris' great little kit.
You can pick it up from her page HERE.
The lovely Bird of Paradise [Seleucidis melanoleuca] illustration is a painting done by Ellis Rowan the great botanical painter after one of her trips to New Guinea in about 1917.
I've added a background brush of Wisteria sinensis which I made from an image on the Australian National Botanic Gardens website.
